It all started 40 years ago when I opened my business. The name of the shop was The Gingerbread House and we specialized in cakes and chocolates. Since then, I am asked all the time to make English Toffee and Turtles. If my friends and family like it so much, chances are you will too!
My recipe has never changed. I make everything in small batches so the confections are always fresh. The caramel is made from scratch and used not only in the English Toffee and Salty Tortugas but the pretzel rods have a layer of caramel before being encased by rich creamy milk chocolate.
